Property Senior Associate - Private CreditOur client is seeking a Senior Associate for their Private Credit team, specialising in Property. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and rapidly growing financial services company.
Salary: Competitive and based on experience

This full-time role offers the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement and is based in a modern office located in Sydney's CBD.
What you'll do: Assess the creditworthiness and risk associated with real estate-backed loans and investmentsEvaluate both the property itself and the borrower's financial capacityReview financial statements, tax returns, rent rolls, and property operating statementsPrepare detailed development feasibility modellingAnalyse market conditions, property valuations, and potential risksConduct thorough due diligence, including site visitsCreate detailed credit reports, recommend appropriate loan terms and conditionsAdvise on risk mitigation strategies for approval by ICStructure and negotiate terms for subordinated credit and complex/high-risk credit investmentsWhat you bring: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Property EconomicsKnowledge of property valuation methods and real estate market dynamicsSkill in assessing property market trends, occupancy rates, and rental income projectionsCapability to evaluate collateral and conduct sensitivity analysisFamiliarity with commercial real estate sectors (office, retail, industrial, multifamily)2-5 years of experience in property creditStrong attention to detail and accuracy in financial calculationsExcellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing and presentationsAbility to work effectively in a team and liaise with various departmentsWhat sets this company apart: Our client is a leading player in the financial services industry they have achieved continued growth since their establishment.
