Find a career that matters and lasts The purpose of the Property Project Team Leader  role is to manage a diverse team of Property Professionals that are responsible for the execution of strategic direction and delivery of land access and primary approvals for Powerlink's capital and operational projects.
Here's how: Ensure collaboration and aligned project deliverables and governance with strong stakeholder engagement.
Lead the strategic direction for, and effectively co-ordinate and manage, the Property Projects Team to successfully deliver acquisition projects, this includes:- The site and corridor selection process; Obtaining primary planning and environment approvals; developing frameworks to successfully negotiate various property related agreements with a wide variety of stakeholders Lead and oversee the Property Project functions including establishing, maintaining, and managing budgets and schedules related to project development.
Drive effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the continued support of Powerlink's Social Performance.
Develop, monitor and report on all acquisition projects throughout stakeholder and community consultation programs.

This has created a permanent, full time career opportunity for an experienced Property Project Team Leader to lead a high performing property management team that pro-actively engages with landholders, developers and other key community stakeholders to ensure we can continue to safely and reliably operate and maintain our network.
You will help provide property acquisition and -management advice as you grow your skills every day.
And you'll do it with down-to-earth people who you're proud to work with and get to know.
Your expertise Degree level qualifications in Property, Property Management, Valuation, Surveying, Law, Business or Commerce, or a related field.
Extensive property and land acquisition experience, incl.
providing strategic and tactical property advice.
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a diverse property project management team to deliver land access, environmental and planning approvals for large scale linear infrastructure projects.
Demonstrated ability to proactively identify and develop strategies to mitigate emerging project delivery risks and issues.
Demonstrated experience to develop team objectives and project delivery plans based on network infrastructure requirements and business priorities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, be adaptive to high pressure situations and good at problem solving.
Ability to liaise, negotiate and collaborate with senior management teams and a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
Registration and certification with a relevant professional institute would be an advantage.
