Defence Housing Australia (DHA) is looking for dedicated Property Managers to assist Australia's defence personnel and their families by providing housing and related services to them.
The key duties of the position include: About us
Defence Housing Australia (DHA) is a Government Business Enterprise (GBE) responsible for providing housing and related services to Defence members and their families. DHA manages one of Australia's largest national housing portfolios of approximately 17,000 properties and currently has opportunities for client focused outcome driven people to join the Property Manager team.
About the role
There are two opportunities in the Canberra region, and we are seeking to form a merit pool for potential future opportunities. Property Managers are the customer service face of DHA. They perform a critical role in directly supporting ADF families transitioning between locations and during their tenancy. Our skilled team of Property Managers ensure properties are well maintained, members are satisfied, and investments are optimised. The team enjoy a unique blend of office and field work, including property inspections, maintenance allocation and management of customer enquiries. Our Property Managers are supported by technical experts who can advise on complex building issues and preparation of scopes.

Taking charge of a well maintained and established portfolio, you will have support with administrative tasks, leasing agents and modern systems, and best of all, no after hours or weekend work.

DHA supplies Property Managers with state-of-the-art tools including but not limited to iPads, laptops, access to a DHA vehicle, a mobile phone allowance with a DHA supplied SIM card, and easy to follow work instructions and internal guidelines.

Eligibility
Employment with DHA is conditional on successful applicants demonstrating that they are an Australian citizen and can obtain and maintain a security clearance at the required level.
