What's The Role All About The City of Port Phillip prides itself on transparency, accountability and engaging with our community. This is an exciting opportunity to play a central hands-on role in contributing to the ongoing delivery of our Integrated Council Plan. While the primary focus of the role will be on supporting development and implementation of the Integrated Council Plan, you will also support the Corporate Planning team in delivering regular performance reports. You will be helping maintain key strategic relationships across the organisation and joining a team passionate about developing future-proof frameworks. Just some of what you might do will look like Content development, copy-writing, editing and document control for the Integrated Council Plan, including navigating the documents through multi-layered reviews and incorporating the inputs and feedback of diverse stakeholders. Lead a comprehensive desktop review of all City of Port Phillip's current commitments, across core policies and strategies. Support the development and implementation of an Integrated Performance Framework, and a Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting approach, which aligns all initiatives and indicators in the Plan. Develop action plans and implementation documents to enable City of Port Phillip to effectively deliver the Council Plan and Budget. Provide administrative, program and business support to the delivery of the City of Port Phillip's Council Plan and budget, including its constituent projects.
Who We Are Looking For A relevant qualification in a related discipline such as business writing, desktop publishing and/or equivalent experience. Advanced copy-writing, editing and document control skills. Experience developing and implementing monitoring, evaluation and reporting frameworks in large, complex, multi-disciplinary organisations. Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence without authority effectively, to consistently meet expectations that depend on inputs from key stakeholders across all divisions. Demonstrated understanding and experience of information systems, databases and other relevant business and financial management processes. Experience in drafting and presenting complex plans and documents with a 'hands-on' approach to developing and managing content.
