About the Opportunity
Competitive salary commensurate with experience. Reporting to the Manager of Projects, the successful candidate will be required to support the company's tender strategy.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Development of tender documentation, specifications, proposals.
Analyse drawings and other documents to prepare time, cost, and labour estimates for products and projects or services.
Involvement in Go No/Go bid process.
Preparation and development of accurate cost estimates from first principles.
Detailed and accurate Material Take offs.
Conduct commercial, risk and profitability reviews.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and maintain positive relationships.
Provide strategy input for tender success.
Regular liaison with internal and external key stakeholders.
Development of construction methodologies, programs, and submission documentation.
Attend site visits as required including remote and interstate site locations.
Prepare clear and concise tender clarifications.
Prepare tender reviews to present to management & Executive leadership team where required.
Collaborate with a team of estimators and support staff to ensure seamless project execution.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
7+ years' experience in estimating positions.
Brownfields Mining and/or Construction experience.
Sustaining Capital experience, a must.
Engineering Degree or Trade technical background highly desirable.
Solid technical writing and editing skills.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
