Key responsibilities include supporting the coordination of events from inception to completion, whether virtual or face-to-face, and assisting with monitoring project activities.
The successful candidate will work closely with Principal Project Officers to deliver designated projects and ensure effective risk and issue management by documenting, reviewing, and escalating as necessary.
Coordination of meetings and providing high level secretariat support, including agenda development, minute taking, and related documentation, is essential.
The role also involves maintaining relationships and effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders, managing email accounts, and ensuring project files comply with Queensland Health regulations and policies.
Adherence to service quality standards and health and safety policies is paramount to guarantee high-quality, safe services and workplaces.

The successful person To be successful in this role, you will have experience in event coordination support/project support including the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and priorities to achieve results within tight deadlines.
You will also have the ability to assist with the preparation of project documentation, agenda and minutes, maintenance of corporate and project files, and the preparation and presentation of project reports.
In addition to this, you will have demonstrated oral and written communication skills and an ability to work in a team environment, developing and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders, and demonstrated high standard of administrative support skills and experience, including knowledge of, or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of, the information systems relevant to the business.
This position, along with other positions in the Office of the Executive Director, will be required to start work at 8:00am or work until 5:00pm in order to cover operational requirements.
