Purposeful work with genuinely good people. That's refreshing. We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Services Manager to lead the development and implementation of procedures and programs designed to ensure a safe and healthy working environment for all project personnel across WRL.
This role involves spearheading an experienced HSE team, fostering a supportive and collaborative culture, and striving for success.
Additionally, you will provide direction and guidance on safety, health, and environmental deliverables across WRL, ensuring compliance and excellence in all HSE initiatives.
With a 3/2 Hybrid split (office/WFH) , this role is based in Melbourne and Ballarat, VIC and is part of the Western Renewables Link (WRL) Team This role will deliver real outcomes, including but not limited to: Develop and administer HSE education and compliance programs for WRL personnel and visitors. Implement occupational health and safety procedures based on AusNet policies. Investigate serious site incidents and recommend preventive actions. Assist HSE Managers in managing compliance and governance with HSE systems. Provide HSE support and advice within the workplace. Offer day-to-day HSE support to team members, contractors, clients, and visitors. Liaise with the EPC contractor on HSE requirements and ensure compliance. Lead and support a high-performing HSE team within WRL. You don't need to check every box; however, we are looking for a good combination of: Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent. Bachelor's degree in Safety, Quality, Environment, Project Management, or related fields, or significant relevant experience. Certificate IV in Environmental Management. Safety Lead Auditor and Internal Environmental Auditor qualifications. Extensive experience in Construction HSE management or significant experience as a Project Safety Manager in Construction and Engineering. Experience in quantitative and qualitative risk assessment, monitoring risk controls, and project implementation. Knowledge of Safety legislation and statutes, especially Comcare, and ability to interpret relevant statutes. Knowledge of Environmental legislation and statutes, with the ability to interpret relevant regulations for projects.
