Description:
The role requires a qualified and experienced project scheduler with proven expertise in developing and maintaining detailed schedules for similar type ERP implementation projects. They will optimise schedules to ensure delivery of key activities meet the project objectives, timelines and budgets whilst maintaining consistency, accuracy and efficiency in scheduling.
Key activities:
Create/maintain a detailed, integrated project schedule that outlines tasks, dependencies, durations, and milestones. Ensuring the project schedules align with project goals and objectives. Create and manage detailed schedules for the execution of testing activities/cycles. Work with relevant project team members to plan for and monitor / report on the execution of test tasks. Create and manage detailed schedules for the execution of end user training. Work with relevant project team members to plan for and monitor / report on the execution of end user training tasks. Develop the detailed schedule for both the cutover and transition to BAU support. Utilize project management software and tools to input and manage schedule data.
Qualifications:
Formal qualifications in project management and/or relevant experience will be well regarded.
Skills:
Proven work experience as a Project Scheduler. Must have deep, technical expertise in developing and maintaining integrated project schedules for similar type projects. Strong understanding of project management methodologies. An understanding of project governance. Demonstrated stakeholder management skills, interpersonal communications skills and emotional intelligence. Demonstrated high level organisational ability, attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines and manage competing priorities.
Experience:
5+ years experience developing and maintaining detailed, integrated project schedules for digital / transformation projects. Must have proven technical expertise in developing complex schedules and working closely with Project team members.
