In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Responsible for increasing Emerson win percentage on projects, managing the project from pre-feed through to tender award, and taking full accountability with the customer throughout the project tendering stage. Identify and develop a strong sales pipeline of projects through early identification of upcoming opportunities. Project manager and key stakeholder of pursuit opportunities in managing project tenders and proposals – a key point of contact internally and externally. Regular cadence meetings with the internal projects team and product management to ensure alignment in the business and that on-time delivery of proposals, value proposition, and best commercial positioning are presented to the customer to differentiate and increase project win percentage. Establish and maintain a strong network of contacts with EPCs and end users. EPC specification work – Get Emerson products specified with EPC early in the project lifecycle. Maintain and update project opportunities in CRM with relevant and accurate information. Develop and build relationships with EPCs through regular face-to-face interactions, meetings, marketing/promotional activities, and engagement. Understand market positioning and best offering. Effective communication and collaboration with all Emerson Automated Solutions Business Units and Local Business Partners to allow for best positioning of total Emerson products on projects. Ensure accurate and relevant reporting on a weekly and monthly basis. Development and implementation of promotional plans and activities. Review and support new product launches, promotions, advertising, merchandising activities, meetings, and presentations. Regular monitoring and communication of project/market opportunities and competitor activities. Technical engagement and presentations to key EPCs in positioning Emerson products to be specified into projects. Who You Are: You identify and seize new opportunities, maintain a positive attitude despite adversity, and build relationships across a variety of functions and locations.
For This Role, You Will Need: Preferred Tertiary Qualifications in either Business, Marketing, Engineering, or similar, combined with good commercial knowledge of the products and services concerned. Post Graduate qualifications (MBA) is desirable. Strong knowledge of the resource industry and EPC relationships. Strong business acumen, technical product, and industry knowledge and proven track record of relationship-building with customers.
