Salary Range: $92,332 - $104,762
Two exciting Project Officer opportunities exist for the right candidates to join the Sustainability and Environment Unit (SEU). These are fixed term full-time position until 30 June 2026.The Project Officer works collaboratively with SEU Manager, Senior Program Managers and team to support on fulfilling the team outcomes. The Project Officer will have a high degree of autonomy, and will be self motivated and driven to produce results through collaboration. Key components of the role include project support, planning and reporting, and stakeholder engagement within the Department and with external sector partners.

SEU operates as part of the Asset Management Branch and is charged with implementing VSBA's Greener Government School Buildings program, Solar Inspections program, and Environmental Program across Government schools. SEU also develops and implements improved asset management practices to achieve better sustainable and environmental outcomes within DE school portfolio.
The Project Officer works collaboratively with SEU Manager, Senior Program Managers and team to support on fulfilling the team outcomes. Key components of the role include project support, planning and reporting, and stakeholder engagement within the Department and with external sector partners.
The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of dashboard reporting, data analysis and management practices along with strong communication skills and proven project support experience, preferably relating to supporting delivery of complex projects.
