Role Overview: As a Project Manager supporting the Wilmar Sugar & Renewables business, you will be responsible for overseeing and delivering a range of business improvement projects, from system upgrades to new technology implementations. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys tackling complex challenges, and excels at driving multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end delivery of IT and business improvement projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets.Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues.Communicate project status, updates, and milestones to stakeholders at all levels.Support business analysts to fulfil and translate business requirements into IT solutions aligned to the overall IT strategyManage vendor relationships and third-party resources as needed.Requirements: Proven experience (5+ years) managing projects in a corporate environment from inception to transition to the businessProven experience in driving business improvement projects with measurable outcomesStrong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and resources effectivelyBachelor's degree in a business-related field and/or Project Management certification (e.g. PMP, PPM, PMI-ACP, CSM)Excellent communication and stakeholder management skillsDemonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentGood track record in identifying and removing roadblocksProven experience in Agile methodologies is advantageousCompetitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.Collaborative and inclusive work environment.Chance to make a meaningful impact in the Sugar and Renewable Energy industries.After the completion of the initial 12-month contract, there is the possibility for a permanent position for the candidate who demonstrates the right fit and capabilitiesIf you are ready to take on exciting challenges and drive innovation in the sugar and renewables sector, apply now to join our team.
