We have an immediate need for a Project Manager with Enterprise Records Management experience to undergo an exciting program of work.
The five stages of the records lifecycle include creation, distribution, maintain, disposition, and preservation .
These stages collectively enable effective records management by ensuring systematic organisation, compliance with policies, timely disposal of obsolete records, and preservation of vital information.
As a Record Management Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of record management compliance and systems.
You will ensure that the records are managed efficiently, securely, and in compliance with all relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement record management policies and procedures.
Oversee the organization, storage, and retrieval of records.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Manage record retention schedules and disposal processes.
Lead and coordinate record management projects from inception to completion.
Train and support staff on record management best practices.
Conduct regular audits and assessments of record management systems.
Collaborate with IT and other divisions to integrate record management solutions.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in record management or a similar role.
Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to record management.
Proficiency in record management software and tools.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
