Project Manager Psychology and Allied HealthQueensland Corrective Services (Organisation site)Southern Queensland Correctional Precinct Stage 2; Organisational Capability; BrisbaneThe role of Project Manager (Psychology and Allied Health) is responsible for ensuring successful delivery of project outcomes in preparation for effective operations of SQCP-S2.The role will work collaboratively with other SQCP-S2 project streams in ensuring the deliverables align with the Operating Model established for SQCP-S2.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop plans for the delivery of psychology and allied health services for SQCP- Stage 2 in accordance with industry best practice in a correctional environment and ensuring all statutory requirements are met.Effectively engage with other agencies in the health, allied health and community welfare fields, including Queensland Health, NDIA and non-government organisations, to inform information sharing, referral pathways and service delivery design.Ensure culturally appropriate services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and other culturally and linguistically diverse populations.Develop and deliver a quality assurance framework that supports practice development and robust decision making aimed at delivery of psychological, disability and allied health services.Demonstrate a high level of understanding of contemporary rehabilitation, offender management, psychological services in correctional settings and professional practice issues, trends and practices.Possession of a degree qualification in psychology and/or post graduate qualifications (or significant progress towards post graduate qualifications) in a relevant field would be highly regarded.Support the Project Director in ensuring the outcomes and initiatives are delivered effectively and within specified project timeframes.Provide strategic evidence-based, best-practice advice to the Operations Project Control Group, ensuring alignment to the strategic objectives and priorities of QCS and SQCP-S2.Provide high level support on the management and resolution of complex issues through effective consultation with stakeholders.Lead and co-ordinate delivery of the project as directed by the Project Director.Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate delivery of the project outcomes.Lead complex data-collection, research, analysis, and consultation to support project delivery and inform project recommendations.Applications to remain current for 12 months.Job Ad Reference: QLD/614740/25Closing Date: Wednesday, 29th January 2025Further InformationWe are committed to building inclusive cultures in the Queensland public sector that respect and promote human rights and diversity.Please ensure you download all attachments and follow the instructions on how to apply.
