We support our clients with Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning and Specialist services to a range of industries and sectors.Our highly innovative team has experienced rapid growth from start up to now more than 70 full time engineers and professionals delivering infrastructure engineering, services and construction to numerous sectors including Mining and Minerals, Petroleum, Defence, Water / Waste Water, and all levels of Government.Job DescriptionWe have a strong pipeline of projects in the design, development and construction of mineral processing and materials handling projects in Australia and overseas and have a newly created position for a Project Manager to join our dynamic Brisbane Engineering team.As a key contributor, you will play a critical role in leading technical and project delivery tasks, and your experience and expertise in project management will ensure the seamless execution of projects from inception to completion.ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Group Director Mining & Metals, this position will involve but not be limited to the following duties:Work with stakeholders to define project goals, deliverables, and scope.Create detailed project timelines, allocate resources, ensuring alignment with scope and client requirements.Develop, monitor, and control the project budget.Provide engineering oversight and manage design deliverables to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and regulations.Monitor team performance and provide feedback to ensure project milestones are achieved.Foster collaboration and resolve conflicts to maintain a productive working environment.Act as a primary interface with clients, maintaining strong relationships and clear communication regarding project progress and expectations.Uphold industry best practices and ensure adherence to regulatory and safety standards.Identify and mitigate project risks and recommend solutions to any potential issues.Site travel or site work as required for the project scopes.Skills and QualificationsWe expect the successful candidate will possess experience and qualifications as follows:Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Process, or equivalent).10+ years in managing projects specifically within the mining or minerals processing industry.Experience as a Project Manager in an engineering consultancy or EPCM environment essential.Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of project management tools (e.g.
Primavera P6, MS Project), scheduling, and cost estimating.Excellent problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management and teamwork skills.Certifications: PMP certification or equivalent is desirable.A strong leader proficient in the supervision and management of engineering and project personnel.You will be joining an emerging leading company within mining and minerals, enjoy a very flexible work (WFH) culture, whose aim is to provide engineering services recognised as the best.
