Come shape our future with us and make a real and lasting impact across our teams.Your opportunity:Our Operations and Maintenance Planning Group has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our newly formed Integrated Operations Planning team!The Operations and Maintenance Planning Group is accountable for the performance and optimisation of Urban Utilities' water and wastewater networks to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction is delivered to over 600,000 properties and 1.5 million customers within Urban Utilities' service area.
This includes planning the maintenance for Urban Utilities' entire asset base.The Integrated Operations Planning (IOP) process is instrumental in preventing unnecessary customer disruptions, cost escalations, and safety impacts on the network.
By shifting the operational dynamic from reactive to planned, the IOP process enhances overall network efficiency and reliability.
Key responsibilities of the IOP process include:Creating Plan and Scheduling VisibilityIntegrated Network Activity PlanningEffective Management of Key and Critical Customer AccountsProject Management for Complex Network ActivitiesThe specific responsibilities for the Project Manager within the IOP team include:Project Management for complex interventions SEQwater, Government Projects, Developer Services, and Network MaintenanceProject Management for complex Recovery and Prevention solutionsCollaborating with interdisciplinary teams – internally and externally.About you:Degree : Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and significant industry experience; a postgraduate qualification in Project Management is desirable.Project Management : Extensive experience in applying project management methodologies to deliver large-scale programs and projects from initiation to completion.Stakeholder Engagement : Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with team members, colleagues, and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction across the board.Leadership and Improvement : Demonstrated experience in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and leading innovation and change management within large teams.Technical Tools : Familiarity with asset management tools and frameworks such as Primavera P6, ISO55000, GIS, PowerBI, SAP, and/or Ellipse is desirable.Resource Management : Experience in supervising and directing people and resources to achieve goals within tight timeframes.Relationship Building : Strong skills in building client and customer relationships.Cross-Functional Leadership : Proven ability to lead a cross-functional team in delivering critical business functions.Leadership Passion : Passion for and experience in effective leadership.At UU, we celebrate diversity.
