About the Role: The primary role of the Project Manager - Infrastructure is to manage the successful implementation of community infrastructure projects within Moira's capital delivery program.
You will play a critical part in the development and execution of these projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget, and to high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of infrastructure project development, including planning, implementation, and delivery.
Develop business cases and project plans, establish governance, allocate resources, and meet reporting requirements.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards, managing budgets and resources effectively.
Monitor project expenditure and compliance with budgetary constraints, ensuring all necessary documentation, permits, and regulatory requirements are addressed.
Oversee safety standards and ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) regulations.
Maintain effective relationships with residents, ratepayers, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders, providing accurate and timely written responses.
Develop and implement comprehensive stakeholder management plans and engagement strategies.
Requirements for the role: Tertiary qualification in engineering, project management, or related field, or extensive experience in community infrastructure projects.
Certified Professional (AIPM, EA, PMI) highly desired Demonstrated project management skills with experience managing projects ranging from $1 to $5 million, including expertise in risk management and mitigation strategies.
Proficiency in relevant computer skills and project management software, along with a strong understanding of financial principles and budget management for large-scale projects.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong leadership abilities and experience managing project teams.
Commitment to continuous improvement, innovation in project processes, and the ability to navigate compliance, governance, and stakeholder engagement in a municipal setting.
