Warrnambool City Council is seeking to appoint a Project Manager to effectively and economically manage infrastructure projects to ensure compliance with the contracts, Council requirements, industry standards, and legislative requirements.
Primarily responsible for planning, management, and supervision of all aspects associated with the implementation of allocated projects, ensuring allocated projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with specified standards.
A typical day will involve, but is not limited to:
Manage project delivery, including project formulation (scope planning, budgeting, and programming), the development of consultant and design briefs, management of subsequent engagements, and as necessary, issue resolution.Prepare contract documentation including drawings, specifications, and other items specific to individual projects.Ensure that site records, documents, diary notes, and progress photographs are accurately maintained as required.Ensure that project works are carried out in accordance with plans, specifications, and contracts.The Benefits This is a permanent full-time position, with a current starting salary of $87,860 per annum exclusive of superannuation, with the opportunity to progress through Council's banding levels.
