As a Project Manager, you will oversee the successful delivery of initiatives focused on enhancing network reliability and performance.
Your responsibilities include coordinating project resources, managing schedules, and ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory requirements.
Collaborating with diverse teams, you'll drive innovative solutions and continuous improvement.

Your Role in Action Delivering highly complex, critical or high risk projects to the agreed scope, time and cost without compromising quality (including the management of contractors and other suppliers);Successful transition of projects to business as usual with minimal business impact, ensuring change management is effective and increase the chances of success for benefits delivery;Ensure project financials are managed, maintained, forecasted and can be reported upon in terms of Capex and Opex;Report the status of the assigned projects pro-actively and on an ongoing basis to key stakeholders and Program Manager, and co-ordinate and manage the work of the project team through up to date resource plans and project schedules;Identify and actively manage project assumptions, risks, issues and dependencies associated with delivery ensuring appropriate mitigation strategies are established and actively managed;Ensure project and quality assurance controls and gate checks are undertaken to minimise risk to delivery, costs and quality;Embed change - Design, develop and implement an education, training and ongoing support strategy and plan to embed the desired change, ensuring appropriate support is provided after the project is formally closed.Conduct stakeholder analysis and establish effective stakeholder management;Consulting and influencing stakeholders by proactively identifying and prioritising opportunities that support current and future strategies and add value.Ensure that all project documentation is completed appropriately and satisfies NFIT requirements; andSupport and build effective project teams across diverse Functions of the enterprise to deliver required project and program outcomes.What Makes You a Great Fit Broad and extensive knowledge and worked as a Project Manager for a minimum of 8 + years with demonstrated experience, in IT and/or business change/transformation environmentsWorking knowledge of contemporary, industry standard project management methodology such as PMBoK or Prince2A successful record of delivering complex, large value, high risk projects within a constrained timeframeDetailed working knowledge of Project Management methods, tools and systemsSound understanding of resource planning across multiple projects and team;Experience in a Project Management role where managing teams has been requiredBy joining Western Power, you will contribute to powering a cleaner energy future.
