Element 25 (E25) is developing a vertically integrated global manganese business, with the expansion of Butcherbird Manganese mine in the northwest of Western Australia scheduled to commence in early 2025 and a USA-based High Purity Manganese Sulphate Monohydrate (HPMSM) Processing facility in detailed design and engineering.The HPMSM Refinery Project has attracted strong funding support from Electric Vehicle Original Equipment Manufacturers including General Motors and Stellantis as well as the US Department of Energy. The Project will process Butcherbird manganese ore into HPMSM, a critical raw material for EV batteries.E25 is looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager - Butcherbird to lead our project team based in Perth, Western Australia.Reporting to the Vice President of Battery Materials, the role will manage daily interaction between project stakeholders, both internal and external, and track, manage and provide comprehensive and reliable data and information about the project status (actual, forecast, trend) to stakeholders and highlight risks and potential mitigation strategies to avert any delays and disruptions.About youTo be successful for this role, you will have:A broad experience supporting the delivery of complex, large-scale projects in collaboration with multiple contractors and stakeholders, including financiers;Manage the projects to drive successful outcomes, measured in terms of time, cost, and quality;Demonstrated experience in managing, tracking, validating, and verifying the cost and quality of project deliverables in close collaboration with the main contractor;A proven track record of delivering projects on time and budget;A minimum of 10 years' experience in project management in the minerals processing or chemical industries, with exposure to large-scale EPC or EPCM projects;A Degree in Project Management and, ideally, Engineering (preferably Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical disciplines);Strong computer skills and literacy, including Primavera, MS Project, and Microsoft Suite products;Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment;Hold an unrestricted Australian Driver's License.This position is a permanent Perth-based position; however, travel to Butcherbird mine site south of Newman, Western Australia and internationally to the United States of America may be required as part of the role.You will be a key player within a small agile team and will have the ability to make an impact on the exciting future of the company.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years' experience do you have as a project manager?Do you have a current Australian driver's licence?Have you completed a qualification in engineering?
