They have recently secured a new $12m scope of work (earthworks & concrete foundations) on a greenfields industrial project in the south-west of WA that requires the appointment of an exceptional PROJECT MANAGER to lead their team on site.
About the Role
As PROJECT MANAGER you will be provided a dual cab ute and fuel card by the company, and work on 5/2 DIDO roster to a construction site located around 90 mins drive from Perth. You will assume overall responsibility for the management and delivery of the project scope, on time and on budget, while leading a project team of 30-40 staff. This PROJECT MANAGER position will allow you to be based in Perth and travel to the stunning south-west WA region during the week, before returning to spend your weekends with your family and friends. The specific scope of work that you will be managing is a $12m earthworks, internal roads and concrete foundations project. While leading the project team, you will work to develop a cohesive team culture and drive high performance while managing the client interface. This role will suit a Civil PROJECT MANAGER with proven 5+ years' experience as a Project Manager for civil contractors in Australia on civil/earthworks/concrete scopes of work in mining/industrial/renewables environments. This can either be a contract or permanent role as this project will run through to August 2025, with additional projects thereafter. On contract basis this role will offer a terrific pay rate of CIRCA $110/hr + Super, Dual Cab ute, fuel card & phone.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience Required Minimum Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (*or similar) 5+ years' as PROJECT MANAGER leading delivery of civil construction projects (earthworks & concrete) for Civil Contractors in Australia Proven success managing teams as PROJECT MANAGER for Civil Contractors on projects including; detailed earthworks, concrete foundations/footings/columns/slabs Strong planning and scheduling skills Ability to manage, forecast and report on project costs and progress Excellent all-round communication skills to manage staff, subbies and the client interface Strong, proven leadership skills to lead a team of 30+ on site Currently Perth or Bunbury based to undertake 5/2 DIDO roster to WA's South-West Existing rights to work in Australia Clean WA C Class Drivers Licence Available within 4 weeks' notice period (*maximum) Benefits CIRCA $110/hr + Super, Ute, Fuel Card Stunning South-West WA Location Excellent Civil Contracting Business Company Culture
