TEN Recruitment is currently taking applications for a Project Manager to work on new commercial fit-out projects throughout Perth, WA. The successful applicant will be responsible for leading the project team to successfully deliver each project, within the given timeframe and budget.
Essential criteria: 5+ years' experience managing projects within the commercial construction industry in WA. Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Construction Management or another relevant field. Experience using Microsoft Office Suite products and project management software. Proven ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients and key stakeholders. Outstanding interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communications. Strong negotiation, dispute resolution and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to work to strict deadlines in a high-pressure environment. Current "C" Class Drivers License with reliable transport. Your responsibilities may include: Project planning from organisation to planning stages, leading the delivery and execution of the project. Ensure compliance with all HSEQ procedures. Build and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders (including clients, consultants, subcontractors and more). Build effective working relationships with and lead project Site Manager and Contract Administrator. Review of subcontractor agreements and resolve claims /answer questions submitted by subcontractors. Maintain all up-to-date records relating to the project. Monitor and ensure compliance with the relevant legislation and contractual requirements ensuring project runs to schedule and meets milestones and targets. Feedback to key stakeholders regards project progress. Accurately report project costs and revenue to the management team. Liaise with clients on a regular basis including final handover.
