We are looking for someone to join a passionate, high-performing team, committed to reframing relationships with First Nations people.
Your contribution: Provide high-level expertise and advice to project stakeholders with respect to the operational, planning, and strategic drivers that underpin effective management of the protected area estate.Develop and maintain highly collaborative relationships with First Nations people, Traditional Owners, and other key stakeholders to underpin the success of projects.Lead the development of a Transition Framework that sets out the operational, organisational, and strategic planning capacities required to realise the transition of greater national park management responsibilities to First Nation partners.Manage and implement strategic initiatives which use both established and new policy approaches and methodologies; to do this you will work in partnership with other QPWS project teams, and they will also assist to accelerate the delivery of the Transition Framework.Manage and lead projects and teams, including the supporting budget, to ensure successful and timely delivery of outcomes in support of Agency strategic direction.Monitor, evaluate and report on progress of projects to key stakeholders.What's in it for you?
