Your new company
Your new company is an award-winning, family-owned commercial construction company. They are well established in Queensland, New South Wales, and Victoria. They do a range of different projects, including commercial, industrial, refurb, and fit-out. They are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team. This position requires you to have previous government experience in Australia, preferably SEQ.
Your new role
Your new role will consist of but not limited to;
Project planning, scheduling, cost controlling, and budgeting Managing client and subcontractor relationships throughout the entire project lifecycle Providing technical knowledge and commercial awareness to clients and senior management Effective running of projects in a highly governed environment Implementing leadership around WHS, Quality, and Environmental standards to meet corporate and legislative requirements What you'll need to succeed
What you'll need to succeed in your application for this position; all candidates must have a minimum of 4 years experience in Australian Government projects, in defence, education, or health. You must be proactive and highly motivated with strong problem-solving, communication, record-keeping, and reporting skills. You must have strong communication skills to liaise with subcontractors and clients alike.
