The Project Manager will be responsible for delivering a renewed funding application to the federal government to increase access to multifaceted health systems clinical research, including trials to Rural, Remote, and Regional (RRR) Australians to address health equity gaps. This exciting role is a 12 month Fixed-Term Temporary, Full-Time opportunity located in Brisbane CBD.
Key responsibilities include:
Provide expert leadership for coordinating and compiling an application for a regional rural and remote (RRR) access to research application within the agreed timeline coordination.Identify and develop opportunities, including horizon scanning, aligning with the strategic goals of addressing health equity gaps for the funding application.Conducting a gap analysis of current funded RRR capacity building clinical trial programs to assess opportunities for enhancement and/or additional approaches for new model inclusive of translational research.Develop and apply a robust project methodology framework for the expert assessment of stakeholder feedback to inform key decision-making for the funding application.Provide leadership and expert advice at relevant high-level committees and working groups with respect to the funding application.The successful person You will have demonstrated:

Clinical Planning & Service Strategy (CPSS) is responsible for delivering clinical service strategy and planning, workforce strategy and planning and leadership, mental health strategy and planning, research, and innovation functions to improve health services available to the Queensland community, optimise health gains, reduce inequalities, and maximise the efficiency and effectiveness of the health system.
