Corvex, an Australian-owned and operated company, is a leader in the asbestos, demolition strip-out, and hazmat remediation industries. As part of our national expansion, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Queensland team.The Role:Our Project Manager will hold an integral role amongst the communication, coordination and completion of projects. Corvex is seeking someone who can oversee all aspects of each job received. This includes setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring job progression.The successful candidate will work directly with our clients to ensure deliverables fall within budget and scope. You will be confident and suitably experienced to take responsibility for the successful execution of jobs ensuring excellent customer service and competent delivery of all milestones in terms of safety, quality, time and budget.You will have experience in all facets of contractor administration, programming, daily operations coordination, Quality Assurance documentation requirements and understand the importance of proactive client communication and management. Tendering and estimating experience would be highly regarded, as would an understanding of the Asbestos Industry.Responsibilities:Planning and defining scopesCoordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless execution of jobsEnsure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budgetAssist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibilityPerform risk management to minimise risksCreate and maintain comprehensive project documentationTime and cost estimatingMonitoring and reporting job progressTeam leadershipStrategic influencingQuality controlEnsure high levels of health, safety and environmental standardsOverseeing and liaising with site resources, subcontractors, suppliers, service authorities and other stakeholders to ensure the safe and successful execution of all jobsRequirements:Proven working experience in project management (2 year minimum)Excellent client-facing and internal communication skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHigh level of organisation skills including attention to detail and multitaskingUnderstanding of Quality and Safety policiesManaged and delivered projects independently or with minimal helpAn understanding of the Asbestos industry is desirableAll applications are strictly confidential.#J-18808-Ljbffr
