The Portable Long Service Authority (the Authority) is a self-funded statutory body established to administer the Long Service Benefits Portability Act 2018. The Act, together with the Long Service Benefits Portability Regulations 2020 provide a Portable Long Service Benefits Scheme. The Authority plays an important role in allowing workers in the community services, contract cleaning and security industries to build up long service benefits based on time in their industry rather than with a single employer. We foster an inclusive and collaborative culture that celebrates achievements and allows everyone to contribute to our success.About the roleThe Authority is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Project Manager on a 12 month fixed term contract to work closely with our Project Team and partner with Project Sponsors to implement the Authority's strategic priorities. The Project Manager will work under the direction of the Head of Technology to partner with all areas of the organisation, and will be tasked with delivering project outputs, developing project plans, project schedules and identifying and coordinating any required resources, and promote a continuous improvement culture within the organisation. The Project Manager will also develop and implement a Project Management Framework to support the authorities project governance.About youOur ideal candidate will have strong project management experience and be able to develop and deliver project plans. You will have excellent interpersonal skills to partner with internal stakeholders, communicate objectives and promote change acceptance. You will need to demonstrate analytical and conceptual skills, ability to take initiative and problem solve, as well as a continuous improvement mindset.
