About the Role:
Mills Recruitment is actively seeking an experienced Project Manager with a background in fabrication to join our client's production management team. This role is pivotal to the company's ongoing growth and success. As the Project Manager, you will oversee all aspects of fabrication projects within the Fabrication Division, working closely with a team of top-tier boilermakers and fabricators to manage the fabrication of new mining equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Competitive Quoting: Develop competitive quotes based on project requirements, materials, labour, and overhead costs.
Production Prioritisation: Collaborate with leading hands and supervisors to establish production priorities based on customer orders, resource availability, and divisional objectives.
Workshop Oversight: Prepare condition reports, coordinate subcontractors, and oversee workshop activities.
Process Streamlining: Work with other divisions within the organisation to streamline processes and share resources.
About You:
Fabrication and Assembly Knowledge: Strong understanding of fabrication and engineering processes.
Trade Certificate: Fabricator-boilermaker trade certificate with a workshop background.
Organisational Skills: Ability to efficiently organise projects and tasks within the workshop.
Communication Skills: Excellent computer and communication skills.
