Currently seeking for a Project Manager - Capital Works to join their busy team for a 12 month temporary assignment.
About the role: As a Project Manager - Capital Works, you manage the delivery and maintenance of the Agency properties, the associated fit-out of sites and capital works.
This includes the coordination of maintenance and repair work, site establishment, decommissioning and relocations.
As well as the management of leasing of standalone sites and co-located arrangements with other federal departments.
In addition, you will: Lead and manage detailed and sensitive property projects Manage end-to-end construction project management including, planning, design, approvals, procurement, delivery and handover.
Write business cases, plans, executive briefs, project reports, status updates and exception reports.
Develop research and analysis, including the preparation of draft reports on project activities.
Manage the project budgets, reviewing and reporting on expenditure.
Identify and manage program governance including the management of project risks, issues and benefits.
Establish and manage procurement and contracts for the delivery of the programme and monitor contractor performance.
About you: The successful candidate will have: Proven property capital projects experience with complex scope.
Strong background in major programme change and rollout Relevant experience in project leadership and management roles.
Qualification in Project Management Deep knowledge of Project Management and Construction management systems and principles.
