Job Description The Opportunity
As a PMO Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Transformation Program and Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO). This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical and communication skills to assist in the smooth execution of projects and programs. You will be responsible for providing administrative support, preparing reports, and ensuring that project documentation and progress are accurately tracked. Your efforts will directly contribute to the timely and successful completion of key initiatives within the transformation program.
What you'll do
Assist Project Managers and the Transformation Team in establishing and maintaining project management frameworks, processes, and systems.
Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to prepare tailored reports and ensure accurate documentation.
Provide support in areas such as reporting, financial management, and risk tracking for projects within the transformation program.
Implement and maintain a process for tracking and reporting risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
Develop and maintain project management templates aligned with the organisation's methodology to support consistent project execution.
Desired Skills and Experience What you'll bring:
As a PMO Analyst, you will bring a solid foundation in project management, analytical thinking, and collaboration. Your expertise in project planning, risk management, and reporting, combined with strong communication skills and adaptability, will support the successful delivery of projects across the transformation program. You will be able to navigate ambiguity and offer pragmatic solutions to ensure organisational goals are met efficiently.
Genuine interest in social justice and the not-for-profit sector.
Relevant tertiary qualifications and professional certifications in project management or related fields.
Strong understanding of project planning, benefits realisation, budgeting, scheduling, and risk/issue management, with proficiency in reporting tools.
Highly developed analytical skills to identify emerging issues and prepare key PMO documents and processes.
Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to work comfortably in ambiguity, demonstrating flexibility, problem-solving, and pragmatism.
Proficient in project management software (e.g., JIRA, MS Project) and the MS Office Suite.
A collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships.
A continuous improvement mindset, always seeking proactive solutions and learning opportunities.

Provide a current driver's license and willingness to travel across Housing Choices' locations, if and as required.
