The Program: Lead tenant programs (the program) provide a safe semi-independent living environment in which young people are supported by one or two approved adult volunteer lead tenant/s who provide day-to-day guidance and mature role modelling. The volunteer lead tenant works collaboratively with Anglicare Victoria (AV) staff members in monitoring and responding to the wellbeing of young people.
Your role: Over the next 12 months you will need to develop and then support implementation of the new model.
The key responsibilities associated with the role are:
Negotiate the exit of current occupants and contracts.Research appropriate Lead Tenant models and submit a final proposal to the Department.Develop and strengthen processes that support a Lead Tenant model i.e., recruitment of the Volunteer Lead Tenant role, eligibility criteria of the young people, panel process for decision making, intersection between Case Manager and Volunteer Lead Tenant.Support the implementation of the model once service delivery commences.Establish and design Governance frameworks to support the ongoing Lead Tenant service.Plan and explore other options for sustainable exit pathways for young people i.e., AV's Better Futures Housing Alliance, Boarding Houses, Youth Foyers, Head Leasing.What you need to know: A salary at SCHADS level 6 which equates to around $102,000 plus super at full time.Part time, 0.6 which is 22.8 hours per week.12-month contract to 30 June 2025Working from our office in Bendigo.We take the Health and Wellbeing of our people seriously offering a Well Worth It!
