You will have the opportunity to gain knowledge of the entire process from concept to construction, collaborating ideas alongside designers, project managers, estimators, and the procurement team to work together in harmony with support and guidance along the way.
As an experienced interior designer, you will be responsible for:
Key inputs within the design and documenting of interior spaces for both new and existing clientsMultitasking across various projects alongside Project ManagersWorking alongside the design team and clients to drive and manage expectations and outcomesAttending regular meetings with stakeholders and clients to discuss updates on the status of projectsProducing effective presentation and communication collateralWorking with the design team to collaborate on concept and spatial planning ideasWorking closely with the delivery team to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budgetAbout you As this is a design-led business, you must have a real passion for creativity and conceptual design. You are eager to learn and develop new skills while showcasing your current knowledge of the process. You will be capable of working on your own initiative, operating both autonomously and collaboratively as part of the wider Design and Delivery team. You will have a hands-on approach whilst instilling a "can do attitude" being both responsive and proactive.
To be a successful candidate, you must have:
A minimum of 10 years' experience in a similar positionInterior Design degree or relevant qualificationImpeccable communication and relationship skills with internal and external stakeholders at all levelsConfident and highly competent presentation abilitiesCreative skills with an ability to conceptualise and communicate ideas effectivelyAbility to work in a fast-paced, challenging and highly-rewarding environmentProficient in Revit softwareCommercial workplace/office fit-out experience (desirable)Ability to design within a budget and schedule projects from beginning to endAppreciation/Experience in a Design and Construct business is beneficial - understanding Australian Building CodesA personality that is collaborative, positive and ambitious!
