As a not-for-profit organisation, and one of six Primary Health Networks (PHNs) in Victoria and 31 across Australia, we work with rural and regional services and national agencies to not only support health reform, but to develop locally relevant models of care, workforce solutions and to pilot innovative programs.
The Creative Therapies Pilot The Australian Government is implementing a pilot program to provide creative arts and music therapy to people with moderate to severe mental health needs, as outlined in the 2023-24 Budget as part of the National Cultural Policy, Revive: a place for every story, a story for every place.
This pilot program will be implemented in up to five Primary Health Network (PHN) locations in a variety of metro, rural and regional areas across Australia.
The opportunity: The Project Lead – Creative Therapies Pilot Program will provide project management leadership for the engagement, co-design and delivery of the Creative Therapies Pilot Program service model in the Murray PHN catchment communities of Albury, Wodonga, Castlemaine and Robinvale.
In this role, you will: Lead and coordinate the Creative Therapies co-design pilot and development of service models in line with Murray PHN strategies and in alignment with the desired project outcomes.Identify, establish relationships and meet (including in-person meetings) regularly with community stakeholders, health and social services providers to support project design and implementation.Collate and analyse data from a range of sources to inform project design and service models.Inform the design and implementation of engagement strategies with health, social services, and community stakeholders to support collaborative approaches that respond to identified system gaps and priority needs as they relate to the project.You will have: A tertiary qualification in Creative Art Therapies, with current accreditation with the Australian, New Zealand and Asian Creative Arts Therapies Association (ANZACATA) (Essential)A minimum of five years employment experience in health, mental health or Alcohol or Other Drugs (AOD).An unrestricted Australian drivers licence and willingness to travel to project communities and Murray PHN offices as needed.Demonstrated experience in the planning, design and implementation of health &/or community services programs/projects, applying project management principles and co-design methodologies.Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to engage and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders to deliver project objectives.Demonstrated ability to prepare project plans, briefs and reports.To learn more about the role, view the position description at: here.
