The Project HR Manager will work in partnership with the project team to deliver effective HR and IR services and the project HR initiatives including workplace relations, training, development, recruitment and onboarding and associated activities in support of project performance objectives. This is an opportunity to join this iconic project during the mobilisation stage, flexible work arrangements can be facilitated, and we are also open to receiving applications from candidates who are looking for a four-day work week.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-level HR/IR support, from generalist advice and recruitment to employee issue management and policy interpretation.
Point of contact for all industrial relations activities as it relates to the role.
Ensure all HR practices align with the project's Workforce Planning objectives.
Support compliance with the project Workplace Relations Management Plan and the New South Wales Industrial Relations Guidelines: Building and Construction Procurement.
Facilitate project compliance with workplace relations and industrial legislation.
Develop and deliver strategies for all diversity and inclusion requirements, and support the project to meet client targets.
Support the project to achieve objectives in the Training Management Plan.
Accurately document and maintain project-specific data and systems.
Facilitate a performance-oriented and engaging project culture.
About You:
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management or related disciplines.
Experience in a similar project delivery HR role with on-site industrial relations experience.
Ability to interpret Federal and State Legislation, including Industrial Relations, Anti-discrimination, Equal Employment Opportunity, and Workplace Health & Safety laws.
Strong relationship management and influencing skills to effectively partner with the business.
Project management skills (or solid time management and task organisation).
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
A current driver's license is essential.
