Project Engineer

Position Summary: Provide immediate support to the Project Manager in managing the project in accordance with Company policy and procedures, to ensure its successful and timely completion and to achieve objectives for quality, time, safety, environment, profit, and client satisfaction, all in a manner that leads to future opportunities with the Client.
The Project Engineer is responsible for: Review scope of worksReview constructability issues relating to design and finishes selectionsMaintain project design program to ensure letting is completeChair design meetings and minutes with project managerProvide immediate support to the Project ManagerIn the absence of the Project Manager, act in his roleManage shop drawing processReview and resolve coordination conflictsRaise RFIs as necessaryAssist Contract Administrator with all Variation AssessmentMonitor and status project programs and schedulesAssist with monthly reportEstablish, implement, monitor, and track IMS for the projectManage the project close out in accordance with company process and procedureResponsible for quality and compliance on siteShort term and long term procurement post-lettingKnowledge and Skills: Hold a Tertiary Degree or Diploma in Building Management, Quantity Surveying, or equivalentHave two years industry experience as a Site Engineer or Project EngineerBe computer literate in Word processing, Excel, programming, and ACONEX or other document control software #J-18808-Ljbffr
