The role
We are seeking a proactive Project Director, Medical Imaging to lead and deliver strategic initiatives within the Medical Imaging Central Support Unit. The successful candidate will develop and manage comprehensive project plans and budgets, while effectively identifying and mitigating risks. This dynamic role requires strong leadership and communication skills to ensure successful project execution and alignment with organisational goals.
The successful person
The essential requirements for this role are:
Demonstrated ability to provide effective leadership at a senior level within a large service delivery organisation involving multi-disciplinary programs and diverse work units.Demonstrated strategic leadership and ability to provide authoritative advice to Divisional and Departmental Executives, and senior Government stakeholders.Demonstrated high level experience in planning and delivering projects to achieve successful project outcomes, including monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on program/project activities.Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary project teams for high performance in line with quality human and financial resource management practices with particular reference to employment equity, anti-discrimination, occupational health and safety and ethical behaviour.Demonstrated high level ability to use high level communication, interpersonal, consultation, partnership, and negotiation skills to create a strong client focus, influence the decisions, action or perceptions of stakeholders and achieve outcomes.Demonstrated research, analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills including the proven capacity to initiate appropriate strategic and operational responses and corrective and preventative solutions to key issues affecting the project/s.Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including demonstrated ability to negotiate and communicate with influence to ensure submissions, briefings and reports reflect a division-wide position, considering the Queensland Health and government strategic agenda.About us
