Job Description The Company
Our client is a property-focused Fund and Asset Manager who develops a range of assets across the residential, retail, commercial, and industrial sectors in Australia. With 18 projects currently underway either internally or through its partnerships, the business is now into its next phase of growth with a focus on the East Coast of Australia.
The Role
Reporting to the General Manager, our client is seeking a highly experienced, independent, hard-working, and driven Project Director. The role will involve managing a team of internal and external property professionals to ensure all facets of the development lifecycle are delivered. The primary function of the role is to ensure the overall success of the projects including, but not limited to:
Oversight of design and planning. Creation and implementation of the sales and marketing strategies. Management of the tender and construction delivery phases. The Project Director is responsible for the overall success of their projects including any strategic planning, reporting, and risk management.
Experience Requirements Minimum 10 years consultant and builder oversight experience including contract negotiations. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Strong demonstrated experience in the delivery of mid-scale property development sites across various market sectors. Managing end-to-end project process and lifecycle, including solving challenges and owning solutions to ensure strong service delivery.
