Project Director

A Queensland government department based in Fortitude Valley is launching a new project of work to implement a new case management system.
As such, they are looking for a Project Director to lead the project team and ensure the successful delivery of the project
This role will report into the Executive Director on a long term 24 month contract.
Key responsibilities: Create and maintain a detailed business case outlining project background, benefits, costs, and risks.Develop and implement a comprehensive action plan for the CMS project from start to finish.Provide strategic advice to the Project Board, manage reporting, and ensure effective interactions for successful delivery.Oversee project governance activities, including meetings, insightful reporting, and budget management.Supervise daily operations and project team members, resolving complex issues for smooth execution.Establish and foster positive relationships with stakeholders to drive and sustain project momentum.Key Skills: Demonstrated experience successfully leading digital implementation projects.Previous experience implementing case management systems or any other digital systems.Previous experience working within government organisations is highly desirable.Project management certifications such as PRINCE2 or PRINCE2Agile is preferredThe Offer: 24 month contractFlexible day rates - $1,250 - $1,350 per dayOffice based in Fortitude ValleyNo admin/payroll fee charged by Clicks ITPlease note that candidates must be Queensland based or willing to relocate.
