Capacity Management Group; Custodial Operations; Brisbane
Within the Capacity Management Group, the Project Co-Ordinator is a key role to help all focus on delivering their scope of the Program. This role will anticipate and provide all aspects of team administration and organisation, and report co-ordination as well as managing program documentation. This will be a busy project role requiring high attention to detail and accuracy, coupled with an engaging interpersonal style able to communicate and collaborate with people at all organisation levels.
Taking the initiative to suggest improvements or different approaches to program support, with no risk to project or process governance, will be of benefit to this role and the team.
Custodial Operations provides strategic oversight, governance and support for the effective delivery of 24/7 custodial services for public sector operated correctional facilities in Queensland. Custodial Operations is responsible for developing and monitoring performance standards for the delivery of custodial services throughout Queensland through key functional areas of operational practice and governance compliance and risk.
The Capacity Management Group leads system level planning, projects, activities and initiatives associated with capacity management across QCS. It provides leadership and promotes best practice in the prioritisation and sequencing of effort, delivering timely, valued and connected change for matters related to capacity management. The Capacity Management Group is responsible for the coordination, monitoring and effective delivery of a range of operational projects and provides oversight of capacity management across the state in all areas of operation. Project Managers may be allocated lead responsibilities for key functions involved within capacity management (e.g. custodial, sentence management, logistics etc) dependent on the priorities of the Capacity Management Group workplan.
