Become a part of our international Operations team at oneof our locations in Brisbane, Australia. For the next possible date we arelooking for you in fulltime (40h/week) as Project Coordinator
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Managing general cargo and project shipments, incl. technical and cost control / profitability
- Serving as a point of contact for clients, partners and other offices for any operations related issues
- Shipping all kinds of cargo, incl. out-of-gauge and heavy lift cargo across the globe
Coordinating and negotiating with subcontractors, sourcing competitive rates from potential subcontractors
- Supporting sales team with proposals to clients
-Administration and support in daily business activities in a global business environment
- Supporting management (local and regional) in reporting, etc .
What you can contribute:
- Successfully completed training in the field of international freight forwarding
Work experience in the freight forwarding industry including air and sea, import and export
- Proven track record of successfully executed logistics operations, coordination and management
- Experience in break bulk, is an advantage
- Familiarization with current software packages such as Microsoft Word and Excel
- Good organizational skills, customer-focused with attention to detail
- Excellent communications skills (cross-functional and cross-cultural)
- Able to communicate in English, both written and verbal
