About the role:

John Holland's Infrastructure division is currently constructing some of Australia's most complex projects, including the Black Hill to Tomago M1, Gold Coast Light Rail, and Upper South Creek Advanced Water Recycling Centre.
Due to industry expansion, the John Holland Infrastructure business is currently seeking a Project Accountant for an upcoming $450m Water Infrastructure project in regional NSW.
Responsibilities of the role include: Prepare monthly Payment Claims to client based on Actual Costs reported against Target Actual Costs to date, including relevant supporting analysis and reportsProcess agreed adjustments to project revenue and Target Actual Costs / budget in Project Cost Reporting systemPrepare client revenue invoicing, allocation of receipting and debtor reportingCoordinate month end financial processes, preparation and posting of accruals, posting of clearing journals, etc.Raise and receipt purchase orders for intercompany invoices and process intercompany / corporate recharge journals in a timely mannerUpdate project forecast sheets and coordinate monthly forecasting process with the teamProvide support for audits and investigations to ensure integrity of the business processes and comply with John Holland internal controlsPrepare / collate documents and facilitate audit / review of project Actual Costs by client as requiredPrepare, investigate and resolve discrepancies in workforce labour reconciliationsProcess workforce labour journals and correctionsIdentify and correct coding inaccuracies in Actual CostsManage / supervise project Finance Administration staffTo be successful in this role you must have: Previous Accounting experienceQualifications in AccountingExcellent numeracy and literacy skillsExperience in working on an Infrastructure Construction project, highly desirableProficient with the Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems - excel intermediateStrong attention to detailAs part of the team, you help us deliver on our promise to transform lives
