THE ROLE Program Manager Reporting to the Director, Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) Response team (CSERT), you will be part of a small specialist team responsible for the delivery of the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing's strategy for responding to child sexual and criminal exploitation (CCE). This includes supporting the development of an intelligence function to detect and share information with Victoria Police to respond to child sexual exploitation.
The role supports the work of CSERT with primary responsibilities relating to:
Assisting the implementation of the team's Strategic Plan to enhance joint responses to CSE that involves leading and supporting multi-disciplinary projects, data analysis and reporting, and providing strategic advice to the Director.Providing authoritative strategic advice to relevant senior managers and units within operational and policy areas demonstrating flexibility, sound judgement, and the ability to take effective, timely action.Supporting the development and implementation of evidence-based, innovative approaches to prevent and respond to CSE and CCE to protect vulnerable children.The role requires demonstrated leadership experience in the development, implementation, and support of operations relating to CSE and exploitation impact, prevention, justice, or closely related fields.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE Lead a small team responsible for the implementation of an enhanced response to CSE through driving evidence-based practice, data insights, and inter-agency collaboration.Develop operations and practice initiatives to meet the strategic directions for managing and delivering an enhanced response to CSE and CCE.Provide guidance and authoritative advice to the Director, internal and external stakeholders on implementation progress, risk identification, and mitigation.Please open the position description to read more.
