About the role:
Be a part of the evolution of HSE @ Origin.
We have 4 strategic Origin-wide priorities that will be delivered as part of a program of work, including:
Reimaging, re-engineering and streamlining HSE processes across all BU's.
Consolidating and modernising HSE & RAC systems (think OCIS, Stature and more).
Improving use of 3rd party services across all BU's and in turn reducing spend.
Building a business case for the future of HSE Innovation, assessing opportunities where we can use technology such as drones, robotics, and more to remove people from harms way and find efficiencies.
The HSE Program Manager will initially be responsible for establishing the team and foundations to deliver on these priorities and importantly building the business case for priorities 1 and 2 to take forward to the Origin Investment Committee (OIC).
Subject to approval, this role will then be responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of these initiatives.
Reporting into the GM HSE, as HSE Program Manager you'll manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously, coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve our ambitions.
Key responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of a compelling business case to present to OIC for approval.
Advocate for change, providing leadership and insight to ensure delivery of an optimised solution.
An interface role driving engagement between the HSE function and the business.
This role will work with the business to ensure acceptance, signoff and uptake of the identified changes.
Establish the foundations required to successfully deliver and govern all initiatives.
What will you bring?
Extensive experience in managing large-scale projects involving fundamentally shifting core processes and systems.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and influence change.
A solution focused approach with the ability to work on complex business problems.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills and able to convey complex solutions at all levels.
Proven experience in delivering programs in an ASX top 100 organisation and utilising and applying industry standard project management methodology.
