Supporting the Regional Director – QLD, your role is to engage CEC members from across the full spectrum of renewable energy generation and storage to advance the roll out of renewable energy in QLD.
Preferably a QLD local, preferably with an existing network from energy, government or a related sector, who can connect people, build collaboration and tackle barriers to change. Your role will range from stakeholder engagement to administrative work and everything in between. This is a true all-rounder role for someone who brings a proactive and collaborative approach to your work, building strong relationships with stakeholders and translating complex issues into clear, evidence-based policy recommendations that help to drive the clean energy transition in QLD.
This is a full-time, permanent position working 76 hours per fortnight (1 FTE).
About you
We're looking for someone who has:
Tertiary qualification(s) in a relevant discipline including energy, sustainable development, public policy, project management, engineering, law or economics.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills for the purposes of information gathering and consensus building internally and externally.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft structured and logically argued, concise and accurate documents appropriately targeted to key audiences.
Outstanding time management with the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.
