•      Production Manager role for an Australian owned success story •      Experience in LEAN Manufacturing and fabrication/ automotive/ assembly operations required •      Commutable from Newcastle or relocate to the beautiful Hunter Valley!Client Details The business is an Australian Owned success story manufacturing a range of steel automotive products.With 40 on site the business supples its products for hire via the largest hire businesses in Australia.The business is looking for a value add production manager to take their operation to the next level.Description Reporting into the General Manager you will lead and manage a team of 35 via your team of supervisors, to maximize efficiencies in productivity levels while maintaining product integrity and quality.Managing production operations to scale production you will: Manage the 3 production and one assembly unit on site consisting of 4 supervisors and 35-40 operators Manage all work flow scheduling and labour allocation In conjunction with the site engineer ensure maximum equipment uptime and efficiency Implement shop floor continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives to reduce waste and increase throughput Working closely with sales and the broader business you will be challenged to ensure DIFOT is achieved whilst developing your team and processes to reduce waste and maximise production output whilst ensuring product integrity and quality is met.Profile You are a proven Manufacturing or Production Manager with your experience gained from within a fabrication, automotive or assembly environment.You will have grown from the shop floor up and be able to evidence having led a fast paced manufacturing and assembly operations.You will have managed at least 20 staff in operations via a supervisory team and have implemented CI And waste reduction programs and have a good understanding of single piece flow and scalability.You will hold particular expertise with accurate materials and production planning.Job Offer Circa $130,000 + expensed car  + super + bonus   Matthew Walker, Associate Partner- click APPLY NOW or email ******
