The Role We are looking for multiple casual Chefs to join our Production Kitchen, they will be trade qualified and able to provide general food production for outlets and functions. Embrace a creative and energetic approach to food production and presentation, maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism at all times. As a chef, your role extends beyond traditional culinary duties. You'll be a driving force in our creative kitchen, brainstorming new products, recipes, and innovative preparation techniques. Your passion for innovation and commitment to keeping our culinary offerings exciting will be essential to the success of our kitchen operations. Based at the vibrant UOW Wollongong campus with close proximity to childcare, food outlets, groceries, Australia Post and a pharmacy Job Requirements Food handling and preparation, knife skills and dishwashing experience in a similar operation. Boardroom, café, restaurant or hotel kitchen experience. Understanding of healthy food products and processes, dietary and religious preferences. Experience in stock ordering. High standard of professional service and personal presentation. Possess excellent organisational, time management and communication skills.
