Mining - Operations (Mining, Resources & Energy) Copper Resources Australia acquired the Rocklands site located 17km north of Cloncurry in December 2020 and since then has undergone an intense re-commissioning phase and mining operations are well underway.About the role:Reporting to the Mining Supervisor, the Production Excavator Operator is responsible to excavate, move and load blasted rock or other materials by operating heavy equipment which may include haul and dump trucks, front-end loaders, dozers, graders, excavators, and other pieces of heavy equipment. You will be required to:Safely operate equipment in an effective and appropriate manner.Support the team to meet production targets aligned with mining schedule.Fly in and out on Mondays, work a rotational day and night shift.To be successful, you will need to have the following:Minimum 2-5 years of demonstrated experience and appropriate RII in operation of production excavators (Hitachi 1200 & 1900).
