We support the Group's strategy of building tomorrow's bank today for our customers, through a focus on three key priorities of trust, resilience and capital generation.Functions include:Finance Data Provisioning & EnrichmentGroup Treasury FinanceFinancial Reporting & AnalysisGroup TaxProgram Management Office and Investment OversightCapital & Regulatory Reporting ChangeRegulatory & Statutory reportingThe Capital & Regulatory Reporting Crew are responsible for:Providing accurate enriched credit risk data to downstream users;Providing capital and reporting guidance; andOverseeing the delivery of all regulatory capital and reporting changes.
This includes ensuring that capital and regulatory reporting is correctly updated to reflect any new product offerings, business process changes, all upstream system upgrades and enhancements are catered for, updated risk modelling outcomes are reflected; and building out enhancements to internal reporting.The outputs of the Crew flow into the annual report, investor relations presentations and Pillar 3 documents as well as a large number of regulatory reports submitted to APRA.

We work closely with our business and technology partners, as well as project managers, to ensure seamless delivery of the regulatory capital backlog throughout discovery processes, build, testing, and stakeholder sign-off.Address Challenges: We proactively identify risks, dependencies, and blockers for the squad.
We are accountable for addressing impediments, driving decisions, and resolving escalations to keep our projects on track.Optimal Allocation of Work: By working with chapter leads, we ensure the optimal allocation of work to squad members and coordinate dependencies across squads.
This helps us maintain high team engagement, efficiency and productivity.Adhere to Frameworks and Compliance: We ensure adherence to delivery frameworks and guardrails, and compliance across customer propositions.
This includes adhering to architectural guardrails, aligning changes with internal policy, and maintaining compliance with the APRA capital framework.Performance Management: We manage the squad's performance to defined objectives, ensuring that we consistently deliver high-quality results.We're interested in hearing from people who possess:Proven Expertise in Risk, Finance, and Capital: We are looking for individuals with demonstrated experience in risk, finance, and capital, along with a solid understanding of regulatory standards.Project Delivery Experience: Candidates should have a track record of delivering a broad range of projects from inception to launch, including new product delivery to customers and ensuring data is provisioned for finance, risk, and regulatory requirements.Vision to Roadmap Translation: The ability to translate a product vision into a technical roadmap and backlog is essential.Collaborative Planning: We value individuals who can understand and plan the backlog of work by collaborating with product, business, and technical teams, overseeing all stages of the delivery life-cycle, including design, development, and successful implementation in production.Matrix Structure Experience: Previous experience working in a matrix structure, demonstrating the ability to balance product ownership with delivery capacity and priorities, is highly desirable.Problem-Solving and Decision-Making Skills: Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and prioritisation skills, with the ability to quickly prioritise across multiple tasks, are crucial.Influence and Stakeholder Management: The ability to influence and deliver outcomes across multiple teams/squads and the confidence to have challenging conversations with stakeholders are key attributes.Agile Methodology Experience: Previous experience working in Agile environments, using tools like Jira and/or Confluence, is preferred.Technical Proficiency: Experience or exposure to SQL, Ab Initio, or equivalent data software is a plus.If you're already part of the Commonwealth Bank Group (including Bankwest, x15ventures), you'll need to apply through Sidekick to submit a valid application.
