We will count on you to:
You will be responsible and accountable for a variety of functions involving analytical and administrative skills. You will also be involved in various fund changes and customer support initiatives associated with the ongoing management of Funds issued by Mercer's Investments businesses in Australia.
This will include implementing process efficiencies (including automation) across the product suite and fund monitoring across platform distribution partners. This is an integral role to enabling the Mercer Investment Funds to continue to meet their ongoing risk, compliance, regulatory and legal obligations.
In this role, you will work closely with senior product managers, project managers and stakeholders across the business, including Senior Management and the Executive team from time to time. Strong written and verbal communication skills are critical to your success. Additionally, you must be organised, disciplined in version control and have at least intermediate experience with Microsoft Office tools including PowerPoint, Excel, Word and SharePoint.
Key Responsibilities:

Data management including the efficient preparation of data associated with product changes.
Fund monitoring, reporting to research houses and gatekeepers and undertaking competitor analysis.
Product team administration functions, managing lodgements of regulatory forms, including processing client rebates, maintaining product lists and product structure charts, responding to general product enquiries and escalating enquiries and complaints as needed.
Contribute to product management initiatives, which will include tasks associated with the implementation of product changes to existing products and new product initiatives.

What you need to have:

Tertiary qualified in a business-related field including finance, accounting, business, management, legal or marketing are highly regarded.
Some experience in the financial services industry, preferably with specific experience in an investment services or product function desirable.
Experience managing and manipulating data.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and contribute to a range of initiatives.
Organisation, prioritisation and time management skills.
Proven communication ability – excellent verbal and written skills necessary.
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills to complete data analysis.
Highly motivated and results oriented.
Some knowledge of investment products and concepts.
