Job Title Procurement Specialist Job Description Summary Immediately available opportunity for an experienced procurement specialist to join our Melbourne team. Job Description The Procurement Specialist will work as part of our larger Supply Chain, Engineering and Asset Management team and work across multiple major accounts in both the corporate and government sector.The successful candidate will be responsible for: delivery of client-specific strategies; client-specific sourcing plans; sourcing events and ensuring appropriate engagement with client and internal stakeholders to ensure delivery and operationalisation of appropriate solutions.About the RoleYou will ensure the delivery of agreed strategies and sourcing plans and delivery of procurement events as per C&W's contractual agreements with clients. You will also have a continual focus on ensuring that procurement events align with the broader business and account strategy and support the delivery of outstanding service to clients. Responsibilities include:Develop/ manage client relationships for effective understanding and leverage of client requirementsProviding a high-quality service to both internal and external clients, which meet or exceed their needs and add value to their businessPerform analysis to service categories under contract (spend, market trends, benchmarks) or direct others appropriatelyCommit to achievable savings or improved service levels based on analysis and interrogation of likely outcomes, and manage the delivery of those commitmentsAssess client requirements and recommend most appropriate strategies to respond to client needsPrepare Procurement Strategy and Tender Evaluation Plan for approval by the clientConduct analysis and prepare Tender Evaluation Reports and RecommendationsAbout YouPrior experience of circa 2-4 years within a purchasing/procurement role, ideally with some exposure, or commercial awareness of the property industry (although not mandatory).A strong commercial acumen an understanding of contract law would be highly beneficialAbility to manage multiple sourcing projects at any given timePreferred tertiary qualified with either a relevant business degree or equivalentMust be technologically capable and able to work within SharePoint, Microsoft teams, Microsoft planner and similarExcel, Power BI and analytical capability to support delivery Why join Cushman & Wakefield?
