Harvey Norman Commercial Project Division is a leading supplier of sanitary ware and appliances to the Victorian building, plumbing and development sectors. We are rapidly expanding in the Victorian market and are looking for a skilled Purchasing Officer to join the busy team located in Laverton North. Our offer is unique to the market as we can provide a full product solution for our core customer's needs; Architects, Builders, Designers, Developers and Plumbers.
In this role you will: Purchase stock from a variety of suppliers to meet deadlines and maintain stock levels Organise stock call-ups in line with customer project schedules Ensure best possible pricing is obtained using various resources Review backorders and follow up delivery times with suppliers daily Keep relevant departments informed of back orders and due dates Answer internal and external queries regarding purchase to assist our end customer Assist and respond to any purchasing discrepancies Liaise with suppliers & maintain relationships Provide full support to Sales teams & account managers Provide feedback to management, maintain accurate purchasing records.
